More about me:
Hi. You may know me as Russ or as Russell or maybe as Russ The BIG Guy. Regardless of the name, I've been a lifelong entrepreneur and a creative.
I've designed almost everything at one time or another. From corporate logos to cartoons, from business cards to exhibit displays, from posters to wall murals and billboards, from commissioned caricatures to giant unique paintings and from a simple flier layout to designing a restaurant interior, the one constant is a never-ending desire to create!
That creative urge does not stop at the boundaries of visual art as I am also an actor, co-founder of an improv comedy troupe, and an improv workshop instructor. I love to share what I have learned with others.
But wait, there's more.
I have drawn tens of thousands of CarTOONicatures which are my own combination of a cartoon and a caricature!
I have also created and organized a walk-a-thon, an "American Idol" styled singing competition & fundraiser, performance opportunities for evolving musicians, a drive-through holiday light show, a one-man comedy/improv show, co-created The Rant-live comedy and comment on politics and pop culture, and created and hosted the Grab Bag Game Show.
Still more.
Add creating small business marketing campaigns, tour manager for a pop/rock musician, drawing book illustrations, coaching softball, invented Doodle Drawings, teaching cartooning classes, restored a vintage Airstream Trailer into a mobile light and sound platform, created a family reunion styled cooking competition, raised two amazing women and much, much more!
